Frank Furness

Architect · 1839–1912

Philadelphia architect Frank Furness combined muscular stonework, polychrome masonry, sculptural ironwork and daring proportions in banks, churches, libraries, houses and railway buildings. His practice included partnerships with George Hewitt and Allen Evans. This catalogue follows both individual commissions and documented firm work, identifying collaborators and later alterations where known.
